Hello everyone, I must confess that I'm not the most consistent when it comes to posting journals but I feel that the time has come to post yet another to update those who are following me and may decide to in the future. When I first started my account on DeviantART, I was definitely raw in my artwork and had a great deal of growth before me. Now, some six years later, I feel I've reached a whole new level in my capabilities with my latest drawings of Harley Quinn, Hawkgirl and most recently, the Green Lantern John Stewart. I will continue this trend of comic book and animation inspired works and see what comes of me in the future but with all that said, there is another reason for this post...
Something I have always believed in is that when able, you should always aim to give back to your community or those who have helped you get where you are. Sadly, this is a problem for many of us because we most often find ourselves in situations that recall our time or assets back into need for ourselves but when the ability does come, it is something to be remembered. A fellow Deviant Artist has done such a thing and is now holding a raffle for her fellow Deviants. Check it out, sign up and make sure to give her a thank you. When all is said and done, regardless of whether you win, remember to give back. One day your karma will undoubtedly reward you.
$500/40,000 point raffle!I've been wanting to give back to the community for a long time, because I have been here a long time. 5 years, to be exact--and what better way to do so than to do a raffle?
I'm holding a raffle for $500 USD--or it's equivalent in points
One hundred for every year I have been here on deviantART. (In points, I don't really know what the equivalent is. Everyone keeps coming up with a new number, and I'm not really familiar with the points conversion system. http://comments.deviantart.com/1/553299057/3914112342 & http://comments.deviantart.com/1/553299057/3914201252) That's alotta dough, no strings attached! But wait, here's the catch...
...There ISN'T one! All you have to do to participate is easy: Make a journal advertising this one and post a link in the comments section.
